High Five Content is a TV, Film and Audio production company founded by Emmy-nominated producer Andrew Jacobs that creates and produces unexpected and captivating content inspired by true stories, real people, and real events.
Whether it's Scripted or Unscripted TV, Feature Documentaries or Films, Digital or Branded Series, or Podcasts - High Five Content is creating, innovating and producing exciting new content and building brands to share with the world.
Andrew Jacobs has been producing non-fiction content for over 19 years. Most recently he helped create and produce Hulu’s Emmy-nominated limited documentary series “Captive Audience,” the mutli-part documentary series “Gold, Lies and Videotape” for Discovery+ as well as the Podcasts “Missed Fortune” “9 Days in July” and “Son of a Hitman” for AppleTV+, iHeartmedia and Spotify respectively, under the High Five Content banner. He’s also Executive Producing projects for Discovery+, Audible, and iHeartradio.
Before launching High Five Content, Jacobs served as Vice President of Development for Atlas Media Corp where he played a integral role on the team that developed, sold and produced hundreds of hours of Television for networks like Nat Geo, MTV, Travel, Discovery, History, A&E, Investigation Discovery, E!, TLC and more.
While there, Jacobs was at the forefront of Atlas Media’s push into new areas for content creation including Spanish-language, Scripted, and Animation. In 2013, Jacobs relocated from New York to Los Angeles to open up Atlas Media’s West Coast Office where he managed a small development team consisting of casting, editors and producers dedicated to the creation, development and sale of new and exciting ideas.
Before joining Atlas, Jacobs spent years working in Production and Development at award-winning companies like Stephen David Entertainment, ABC's Buena Vista Television, and on shows for BBC, MTV, Discovery, TLC and more.
Jacobs was born and raised in Silicon Valley. He received a BFA in Film & Television Production from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
